Venezuela said Thursday it was embarking on a “new stage” in its relations with the United States, based on mutual respect, after the two countries agreed to restore diplomatic relations. The government of interim President Delcy Rodriguez has expressed its readiness to continue a constructive dialogue based on sovereign equality and cooperation between the two nations.
