President Trump He got some new gear Thursday at a White House event honoring women, thanks to a U.S. Olympic bobsledder…and while it may not be a Nobel Prize, it’s a tremendous honor!

The scene unfolded during a Women’s History Month celebration hosted by the POTUS at 1600 Penn. Avenue, in the presence of the chief of staff Susie WilesPress Sec. Karoline Leavittattorney general Pam BondiSecond Lady Usha Vanceand others.

American Olympian Kaillie Humphriesa 6x medalist, was also in the building and didn’t waste the moment as she walked up to the microphone, giving 45/47 one of her medals.

During President Trump’s Women’s Month speech Thursday, Olympian Kaillie Humphries presented Trump with an award for his impact on women’s sports, “advocating for keeping biological females in women’s sports” and keeping men out of women’s sports.

Not one of those medals… no gold, silver or bronze here. Instead, Humphries gave Trump something that is arguably more special.

“I am very honored to present this Order of Ikkos medal to Donald Trump,” Kaillie said, standing next to the president.

“We only have one, but I want to recognize the support and impact you have had on women’s sports throughout the Olympic movement, particularly in standing up to keep biological females in women’s sports, to keep the playing field safe and allow for fair competition,” Humphries told Trump to the packed room.

Before presenting the medal, Kaillie added… “I believe this makes you the first president in history to also receive the Order of Ikkos.”

The Order of Ikkos was established in 2008 and exists so Olympians can show their gratitude to the person who helped them reach the pinnacle of athletics.

In the Humphries case, it was DJT…because of everything the government has done to protect women’s athletics, which many on the right believe is under attack.

For his part, Trump seemed thrilled to get the OoI, flashing a big smile as he said, “I knew I liked him!” before posing for photos.
