Stracke spoke out during Season 15 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” about her ex-husband seeking an annulment through the Catholic Church, prompting her to start using the last name “Brown” in her real life.
According to Bravo, she said in 2025, “After Christmas, I really decided to do Sutton Brown. There were some things that I just didn’t agree with.” She later revealed that her full legal name was Sutton Brown Stracke and that she planned to drop the Stracke name.
She also said on the “RHOBH” post-show that “It’s very young to be Sutton Brown, because I was young the last time I was Sutton Brown. It’s like a second life.”
