Three of the injured flight attendants were taken to hospital Four Delta Airlines Flight attendants were injured Friday after an Australia-bound flight experienced what the airline described as “brief turbulence.”
The flight, carrying 245 passengers and 15 crew members, was heading from Los Angeles, California, to Sydney, Australia, when the turbulence began.
THE Airbus A350 was hit by turbulence during its descent, but Delta said the plane landed “safely and normally” at Sydney Airport.

Three of the injured flight attendants were sent to hospital for medical treatment. No passengers reported injuries.
“Delta Flight 41 from Los Angeles encountered brief turbulence during its descent to Sydney, and four flight attendants reported injuries,” an airline spokesperson said in a statement to FOX Business.
“Nothing is more important than the safety of our employees and customers, and our priority is to take care of the affected crew members,” the statement continued.

The flight landed in Sydney on Friday morning after leaving Los Angeles on Wednesday evening local time.
NSW Ambulance was alerted around 6:45 a.m. local time, just minutes before the plane landed, flight data showed.

Emergency workers said they treated five people with minor injuries, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, although it was unclear why their injury totals were different from Delta’s.
