Flagship memory configurations on Android phones now cost more than Snapdragon chips, tipster claims

The cost of acquiring 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage exceeded that of Qualcomm’s flagship 3nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a combination found on most flagship smartphones today, according to a tipster. The leaker claims that the cost of this particular setup is expected to increase by over CNY 2,300 (Rs. 31,000) during the second half of the year.
