‘Reacher’ star Alan Ritchson didn’t start a fight with his neighbor: sources

Star “Reacher” Alan Ritchson did not instigate the fight with his Tennessee neighbor and was pushed off his bike twice by the man before the videotaped beating, according to sources close to the actor.

Our sources tell us…witnesses saw Alan riding his motorcycle down the street in Brentwood, Tennessee, in front of his two children on their mini bikes Sunday afternoon. We are told to their neighbor, Ronnie Taylorrushed into the street to try to stop Alan’s bike in a “really aggressive” manner.

As a result, Alan crashed, falling off his motorcycle and suffering cuts and bruises, as well as a minor finger injury, according to our sources.

We’re told Ronnie dared Alan to punch him while yelling at the actor, who was still on the ground. But our sources say Alan didn’t take the bait and tried to defuse the situation by jumping on his bike to leave.

However, Ronnie pushed Alan to the ground, prompting Alan to beat up his neighbor, which was caught on camera. TMZ released the dramatic video showing Alan pulverizing Ronnie in the street before Alan gets back on his bike and takes off with his two children.

Ronnie told us that Alan was driving his motorcycle around the neighborhood at excessive speeds for two days straight. He said he finally confronted Alan about his dangerous motorcycle habits on Sunday, sparking their violent altercation.

Our sources close to Alan noted that Ronnie “initiated and instigated” the entire event. We’re told Alan cooperated with police and no one was arrested.
