Woman charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting RihannaMs.’s household risks losing her license to practice speech therapy.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, California prosecutors say Ivanna Lisette Ortiz is licensed to practice speech pathology in the state…and a member of the board that oversees licensing in her field wants her banned from practicing if she is released from law enforcement.
The board member says Ortiz got his license in April 2016 and it’s not set to expire until June 2027.
Ortiz is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning…and if she is released on bail or her own recognizance, the board wants any conditions of her release to prevent her from working with the public as a speech-language pathologist.
She is accused of one count of attempted murder, 10 counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm and three counts of shooting into an inhabited dwelling for allegedly firing several shots at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home with an AR-15-style rifle while Rihanna and her children were inside.
