MMA Fighter Maycee Barber Says She Looked Dead After Crushing Loss

MMA fighter Maycee Barbier choked up while talking about her knockout loss this weekend, saying she looked dead lying there on the canvas.

Barber posted a video on X after being savagely beaten by her opponent, Alexa Grassoduring their UFC flyweight match in Seattle on Saturday night.

In the first round, Grasso landed a hard left to the face, dropping Barber like a sack of potatoes before finishing him off by choking him. Barber remained lying on the canvas, a blank look in her eyes. Grasso was announced the winner of the fight.

In her X-rated post on Sunday night, Barber kicked things off by recapping the fight, saying she didn’t remember much except what she saw on social media, which were videos of her looking dead.

So, she jumped on X to tell everyone she was fine while vowing to return to the Octagon to continue her “fighting journey.”

UFC president Dana White went further during a press conference, calling the fight “one of the greatest in the history of the sport, let alone this year, tonight or whatever.”
