Brian Littrell of Backstreet Boys Appears to shout gay slurs at Beachgoer … On video
Published

Brian Littrell of Backstreet Boys is in hot water today after a video surfaced showing Littrell calling someone a homophobic slur.
In the video, obtained by a local outlet WMBBLittrell confronts a swimmer identified as Kyle Gallagher. During the altercation, PEOPLE reports that Littrell appears to say, “You want to be gay? You want to be a *****?”

And get this… Littrell submitted the video himself because he thought it would help his case against Gallagher! But Littrell’s attempt to file criminal charges failed…largely.
Littrell reportedly tried to file a battery charge against Gallagher, but prosecutors decided against it after the video appeared to support Gallagher’s version of what happened.
In the affidavit, Littrell allegedly accused Gallagher of hitting his hand and claimed Gallagher “was being belligerent and disturbing the peace.” But Gallagher allegedly told cops he was just “surprised” by Littrell holding his phone so close to his face.
Ultimately, Walton County Deputy Chief Deputy Prosecutor Josh Mitchell reportedly cited “lack of criminal intent” as the reason he did not recommend a warrant.
We’ve reached out to Brian’s reps for comment…so far, no response.
