Taylor Frankie Paul has season of ‘The Bachelorette’ pulled by ABC and Disney after domestic assault video released

According to a previous report from The Blast, Paul has been the center of negative attention over the past month after a video surfaced showing a domestic dispute she had with her ex, Dakota Mortensen, in 2023.
In the shocking clip, Paul appears to punch and hit Mortensen before throwing metal chairs at him, which then hit his minor daughter.
“That’s called physical violence. That’s all you do,” Mortensen shouted in the video. “That’s the only thing you know how to do is hurt me. You think that’s OK? That’s not OK. Holy shit.”
The video came to light after a source revealed that the cast of Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” refused to film after learning of another alleged domestic dispute between Mortensen and Paul in February 2026.
In the midst of all this, ABC and Disney canceled what would have been the 22nd season of “The Bachelorette,” which was supposed to star Paul in the lead role.
“In light of the new video that just surfaced today, we have made the decision not to move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette, [starring Paul]right now, and our goal is to support the family,” the network said in a statement.
