The stakes are getting higher for some fans who plan to watch Justin Bieber performing at Coachella.
Ticket prices for the music festival skyrocketed hours after fans got a preview of the songs that would be performed. Her performance is expected to top Coachella’s financial rankings as the highest-paid headliner.
Justin Bieber’s success continues to make waves in the industry, including consistent wins on his chart-topping albums. This doesn’t mark his first performance at Coachella, as he’s appeared alongside other successful singers over the years.
Coachella ticket prices rise after Justin Bieber rehearsals leak

Bieber inevitably upped the ante for those who waited until the last minute to purchase their tickets to the upcoming Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Ticket prices soared into the thousands of dollars shortly after a clip went viral of a fan hearing her rehearsal remotely.
The leaked clip posted on TikTok shows the fan vibing to the songs and the artist’s voice in the background. Classic Bieber tunes like “Baby,” “One Less Lonely Girl” and “Beauty and A Beat” blared from the distant speakers. The waves of nostalgia that hit fans as they listened to the tracks sent many people into a spiral, which escalated into ticket chaos.
Fans scrambled to get tickets to the event, and prices skyrocketed. Resale tickets cost up to $4,000 for general admission weekend passes, and according to TMZ, they started at $649 in September.
The artist’s performance could be that of a lifetime
The “Lifetime” singer may not be back on stage for a while. His last tour was in 2022, which he did not complete after receiving a shocking update on his health. Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome and therefore had to cancel the tour early.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused when the varicella-zoster virus affects certain nerves in the face. It causes a painful rash called shingles that affects the ears and/or face and mouth. Shingles can cause loss of movement on one side of the face, changes in hearing, taste and balance.
There have been rumors that the former child singer might not be going on tour anytime soon, so this Coachella performance might just be the last time he takes the stage for a long time. This could also be why the musician would have gone to soundcheck all of his hits, much like what Taylor Swift did on her Eras tour.
Justin Bieber Closed a multi-million dollar deal without an agency
Bieber would have spotlighted his name in the Coachella story without help from a third party. The iconic singer made waves last year after signing a $10 million contract. The deal added a gem to his name as the music event’s highest-paid headliner, earning a seven-figure payout and becoming the first to do so directly, without relying on an agency.
The Blast reported that the artist was to receive a lump sum for two weekends of performance. The entire amount goes directly to Bieber as he negotiated his headlining fee with Goldenvoice without a third party, so no worries about paying agency commission.
Bieber is no stranger to the Coachella stage, but this marks his first solo performance. He performed his hit “Sorry” with Ariana Grande, who headlined Coachella in 2019. In 2022, he sang “Peaches” alongside Daniel Caesar, and in 2024, with Nigerian artists Tems and WizKid, the father of one collaborated on “Essence.”
The popstar turned her career around
The entertainment industry is so big and Bieber isn’t done exploring his mind. Despite his immense reputation in the music world, the artist decided to test the waters as a streamer. He announced last October that he would officially begin live streaming on Twitch.
His first stream was filmed on a huge soundstage with an indoor basketball court, a golf course, a skateboard half-pipe and a large pool table, as reported by The Blast. The stream, however, did not dabble in his musical personality but rather focused on his sports side.
During the livestream, the “Sorry” singer played basketball with his friends for about 35 minutes before playing pool, ping pong and later riding his skateboard. The music icon didn’t really interact with the thousands of fans watching the session until the final minutes before he signed off, where he took a quick tour of the soundstage.
Justin Bieber’s life hasn’t been easy
Even though his career continues to gain momentum, the artist has faced his share of challenges, particularly with the people around him. In recent years, Bieber reportedly cut ties with longtime friend Usher after the revelation about Sean “Diddy” Combs made headlines.
Usher and Bieber have been close for nearly two decades and have enjoyed a healthy relationship since the “Baby” Singer’s career began when he was a teenager. An insider shared that after the allegations against Diddy came to light, Bieber began to reevaluate his relationships. At the 2026 Oscars private afterparty, Usher reportedly confronted his former protégé, and the interaction turned physical.
While neither party has spoken out to confirm or deny the altercation, The Blast reports that insiders have shared insight into the reason for the feud. “It didn’t start that night. It had been brewing for a long time. Justin feels like he’s finally seeing things clearly, and he doesn’t like what he sees,” the source revealed.
