Ben Affleck reportedly ready to part with his $30 million stake in the Beverly Hills estate he once shared with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez if it means he will be free of her forever.
The former couple finalized their divorce in January last year, but were unable to offload their expensive marital mansion.
Meanwhile, the Argo actor maintains close ties with his ex-wife Jennifer Garnerand the former couple recently stepped out for an outing with their son Samuel.
Ben Affleck wants to close the Lopez chapter at all costs

Ben Affleck seems to have had enough of everything involving Jennifer Lopez, so much so that he’s willing to give up $30 million if it means he never has to deal with her again.
The ex-couple experienced a very public separation for most of 2024, after Lopez filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
Their divorce was finalized early the following year, after which they had to sort out the division of assets and interests because they had not signed a prenup when they got married.
However, the exes still had to deal with each other as they were unable to sell the $60 million Beverly Hills mansion they purchased to house their blended family during their time together.
That’s all changed now, with sources claiming the “Accountant 2” actor is giving Lopez his share of their mansion so he can finally move on and never have to deal with the singer again.
“He’s not the one giving anything away,” a close source said. “He’s the one paying to get this done. This house is the last tie, and he wants it gone quickly.”
The actor only has freedom in mind: “He wants a clean and absolute break”
At this point, having some peace of mind and peace of mind is more important to the Oscar-winning actor than turning a profit or getting reimbursed for the mansion he owns with Lopez.
“He would pay anything at this point,” the source told reporter Rob Shuter.ShutterScoop. “Because peace of mind is worth more than money.”
However, it’s not just about throwing money around or carrying out charitable activities. It’s a calculated plan, the source shared.
“Ben is not acting out of kindness,” they noted. “He’s making a smart decision for himself. He wants a clean, absolute break, and this is the quickest way to get there.”
The move will give the “Maid In Manhattan” actress full control of the property and all future profits from it, but Affleck doesn’t mind.
“He doesn’t think about the benefits,” the source explained. “He thinks about being free.”
Ben Affleck reunites with his ex Jennifer Garner
Unlike his relationship with Lopez, Affleck maintained a close bond with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner following their divorce in 2018.
Last Friday, the couple got together for an outing with their son Samuel, and it couldn’t easily be said whether a divorce had occurred between them or not.
The two actors seem to be doing well in their co-parenting journey and have often gotten together for special occasions like Thanksgiving Day, birthdays, and special holidays.
Affleck and Garner, who also share children Violet and Fin, got together in February to host a paintball party in commemoration of Samuel’s 14th birthday.
According to the Daily Mailthey were seen arriving at the Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, California, ready to have some fun with their child.
They raised eyebrows on the same occasion last year when Affleck was seen affectionately hugging the Elektra actress.
Jennifer Garner spoke out about her co-parenting relationship with Ben Affleck
This comes after Garner opened up about her co-parenting journey with Affleck during a February appearance on Bustle’s “One Nightstand” podcast, revealing that it took a lot of sacrifice for them to get here.
“When your kids grow up in two separate homes, I become mom and dad, and he becomes mom and dad,” Garner said. “You kind of can’t help it, can you? Because you don’t have the benefit of both sides, yin and yang being in the same house, so you have to have a little bit of both in your parenting.”
“There’s a little bit of loss in that, but there’s also something gained in that,” she added. Fox News. “We also learn, it made me let go and not focus too much on education. »
Ben Affleck once admitted he didn’t want to divorce Jennifer Garner
Affleck previously said he never wanted them to divorce before noting that they would be “connected” forever, especially because of their children.
“I didn’t want to get divorced, I didn’t want to be a divorced person, I really didn’t want to be a divided family with my kids,” he said during an appearance on “GMA” in 2020. “It upset me because it meant I wasn’t who I thought I was, and that was so painful and so disappointing. In myself.”
“When you have children with someone, you’re connected to them forever,” the actor continued. “And I’m very lucky that she’s the mother of my children. I’m very grateful and respectful to her.”
Affleck added, “Our marriage didn’t work, and it’s difficult. We both really believe that it’s important for children to see their parents respect each other and get along, whether they’re together or not.”
Since their split, Affleck and Garner have enjoyed an amicable co-parenting relationship and are regularly seen together supporting their children.
