Fidesz MEP László attributes the loss to low turnout of “undecided voters” and “economic stagnation” in the EU

Armen Georgian, Europe editor-in-chief of FRANCE 24, is pleased to welcome András László, MEP for Patriots for Europe / Fidesz. According to Laszio, the result cannot be reduced to a single campaign misstep or policy failure. He says Europe’s ruling parties are all under pressure from economic stagnation. But he accuses the opposition of a “dirty and hate-filled campaign” that prioritized personalities over substance and concrete policy positions. He warns that the newly inaugurated majority holds significant institutional authority, but its political direction remains largely undefined.
