Jaafar Jackson attends the screening of ‘Michael’ in Icon’s hometown of Gary, Indiana

Jaafar Jackson arrived in Gary, Indiana – the hometown of Michael Jackson — for a special screening of “Michael”… and it turned into a real family affair!

Check out the photos: Jaafar was grinning from ear to ear Monday night, taking to the podium for a speech and taking it in with the rest of the Jackson clan…including members of the Jackson 5.

All smiles on the surface, but not everyone came to the celebration at the birthplace of the famous Jackson clan. Visibly absent? Michael’s children Paris And Bigi ‘Cover’ Jackson …and as we know, there were tensions.

Paris recently aimed at Michael’s lawyer John Brancadenouncing the film’s “sloppy production” — a big deal considering he oversees MJ’s estate.

Still… looks like the promotional train isn’t slowing down anytime soon – with or without the whole family on board. “Michael” is locked and loaded for release on April 24.
