According to a previous report from The Blast, Beyoncé’s choreographer Christopher Grant and her dancer were targeted in Atlanta in the summer of 2025.
According to reports, Evans broke into Grant’s rental vehicle while they were going to eat at the Krog Street Market.
Grant told police he worked for a high-profile celebrity and that items allegedly stolen from his car included unreleased music.
“He indicated that he was her choreographer and that Mr. Diandre Blue was a dancer for her, and that her hard drives for her upcoming show in Atlanta had also been stolen. The hard drives contained watermarked music, previously unreleased music, sequence shots for the show, and past and future set lists,” the report states.
Other items allegedly stolen from the rental vehicle included expensive items such as AirPods Max, luxury sunglasses and laptops.
Evans faces up to six years in prison after allegedly stealing Beyoncé’s unreleased music
Evans appeared in court on May 12, 2026 and pleaded guilty to the charges against him. According to 11 Alive, he faced up to six years in prison; however, he was sentenced to two years in prison as part of the plea agreement.
Evans will receive credit for time served following his arrest in September 2025. Despite this, Evans has been stuck in court due to a prior car break-in case, making the length of his sentence unclear.
Evans’ defense attorney said the Atlanta resident was eager to take responsibility for the sake of his child.
“He is eager to put this behind him and hopes for a future where he can legitimately earn money and be a part of society like the rest of us,” the lawyer said.
Beyoncé becomes a billionaire after recording the highest-grossing country tour of all time
Despite the reported theft, Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour was still a big success. After just over 30 concerts, the singer raised more than $407 million after selling 1.6 million tickets.
The numbers made the show the highest-grossing country tour of all time, according to The Blast.
Another report from The Blast states that Beyoncé’s latest tour helped push the singer’s fortune past the 10-figure mark, making her the seventh musician to reach billionaire status.
The official report not only cited the tour as helpful, but also mentioned the singer’s “Beyoncé Bowl” Netflix special, which attracted more than 27 million viewers and earned the singer an Emmy Award.
Queen Bey makes Met Gala appearance after decade-long hiatus
Most recently, Beyoncé made waves after making her first appearance at the Met Gala since 2016. The singer appeared on the red carpet in a custom Olivier Rousteing gown and later changed into a black ensemble adorned with thousands of Swarovski crystals that resembled the night sky.
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, recalled being moved by the event, admitting she “shed a few tears.”
Tina went on to say how much this moment meant to her because her granddaughter, Blue Ivy Carter, made her first appearance at the Met alongside her mother.
“It was a little bit evocative, because Beyoncé started, you know, her first red carpet at 15, and Blue is 14. And so just seeing her there, confident and beautiful, it brought tears to my eyes,” she said.

Users, however, criticized the actor, accusing him of trying to humiliate the 35-time Grammy winner.
“When people say they’ve never heard a Beyoncé or Michael Jackson song, I immediately know they grew up in a cult or are a January 6th groupie. Because how do you not know the chorus or chorus of ONE Beyoncé song?” someone wrote about
