King Charles III is still going strong… as in “He’s alive and well”, despite what a British radio station said earlier this week.
🤭 And here’s the recording of the exact moment a British radio station accidentally “announced the death” of King Charles III live. https://t.co/SlQN5qGwYw pic.twitter.com/OBAwxwSA2a @nexta_tv
Radio Caroline mistakenly announced the death of the British king on Tuesday, saying a computer error had triggered the “death of a monarch procedure”.
Station manager Peter Moore said in a statement on social media that the announcement – and the minute of silence that followed – were triggered by accident.
The station apologized to King for mistakenly reporting that he had kicked, and to listeners for the shocking false alarm.
Moore wrote… “Caroline has been pleased to spread the Christmas message of Her Majesty the Queen, and now the King, and we hope to do so for many years to come.”
He added that the error occurred on Tuesday afternoon…and you can see it on their website that there is no reading available for Tuesday’s broadcast between 1:58 p.m. and 5 p.m.
And as for His Majesty… he and Queen Camille I’ve been in Belfast for the last few days.
