President Donald Trump rips Kaitlan Collins during heated Oval Office exchange

President Donald Trump treated an Oval Office political issue like batting practice…taking a few jabs at CNN Kaitlan Collins instead of the problem she raised.

The fireworks began when the POTUS was pressed about a proposed $1.8 billion anti-gun fund — a massive compensation package for people who claimed to have been victims of politically motivated government investigations — which has since been scrapped following bipartisan criticism.

The exchange quickly devolved into a familiar back-and-forth between the president and the CNN anchor, with Trump lashing out at Collins and his network while questioning his reporting and motivations. At one point, he accused her of approaching his subject with “hate in her eyes” and mocked her efforts to pressure him on the issue.

Collins repeatedly tried to steer the conversation back to the proposed fund, but Trump continued to fight back… in yet another headline-grabbing clash with one of his most frequent media adversaries.

The tense moment is just the latest chapter in the long-running feud between Trump and Collins, whose exchanges have regularly produced fireworks dating back to his first term.

As for the fund itself, the proposal is no longer moving forward after facing opposition and increasing scrutiny. Yet by the time the exchange ended, politics was almost an afterthought… Trump and Collins once again stealing the show.
