For Kelly machine gun and his team, safety comes first!
The rapper’s concert earlier in the week was interrupted, forcing his team to put their plans on hold and possibly reschedule it for another day.
Machine Gun Kelly is no stranger to weather affecting his concerts, as he staged an impromptu performance for his fans after a storm interrupted one of his 2022 concerts.
No word yet on the next Machine Gun Kelly show date

MGK’s Michigan concert was abruptly suspended early Tuesday evening, June 16, after inclement weather forced concert organizers to end the show midway through.
The rapper gave attendees a good time at the Pine Knob Music Theater just outside Detroit, but about four songs into the night, rain and thunder interrupted the show.
Security guards reportedly intervened and led the rapper off stage to a safe location, while fans were instructed to hide under the roof of the venue’s amphitheater or stay in their vehicles. Once things calmed down, the singer returned and tried to pick up where the show left off.
Unfortunately, another round of rain and thunder forced a change in plans, leading to the remainder of the concert being canceled completely. MGK was seen sitting at the edge of the stage with an acoustic guitar when he was later approached by security and asked to leave as disappointed fans looked on.
He then took to his Instagram Stories to address the situation, stating that he was surprised to see the weather force a cancellation for the first time in his career. As noted by TMZ, the rapper added that while he did his best to continue the show, he couldn’t override the venue’s security decision.
Rapper’s canceled concert isn’t his first rodeo
XXL Magazine shared in 2012 that a handful of MGK fans had their hopes dashed when he canceled a show in St. Cloud, Minnesota, due to a lack of security at the St. Cloud National Guard armory.
According to Lt. Col. Kevin Olson, the decision became significant after site officials determined that contractual security provisions had not been met.
The situation at the show reportedly became even more chaotic when someone in the crowd threw a sledgehammer inside the venue. Although no injuries were reported, the incident reinforced the initial conclusion that it was unsafe to continue with the show.
The rumors grew worse when news broke that the concert had been moved to another venue in downtown St. Cloud. About 100 to 150 fans arrived at DB Searle’s bar, believing the reports, but finding no backup performances scheduled.
The cancellation followed a series of frustrating last-minute adjustments that first pushed back the concert and ultimately led to its cancellation. Ticket holders have been asked to hold on to their tickets as organizers attempt to reschedule the performance, although no new dates have been mentioned.
MGK later addressed fans in a statement, thanking everyone who showed up and expressing disappointment that circumstances beyond the team’s control prevented the concert from taking place. He also promised fans that he “will be back in Minnesota one day.”
Machine Gun Kelly treated fans to surprise street performance after flood canceled concert
Four years ago in Paraguay, MGK made the bold decision not to let his fans leave disappointed after severe flooding forced the cancellation of his planned concert. As The News shared, MGK transformed the area outside his hotel into a concert venue, providing an emergency show for his packed audience.
Before leaving his room, the rapper announced his emergency plan on social media, revealing that the concert hall had become unusable due to flooding. He informed his fans that he had planned a big speaker just outside his hotel, where he would give them an alternative performance.
MGK fans did not disappoint, turning out in large numbers and turning these spontaneous moments into an interesting and intimate live event. The rapper made sure his online fans didn’t miss the moment by sharing footage from the performance.
The Emotional Reason Behind MGK’s Dramatic Tattoo Transformation
The Blast said the rapper underwent a significant physical transformation in 2024 when he shared photos of his upper body covered in blackout tattoos.
MGK has long been known as an avid fan of tattoos and piercings, but he realized he needed to make a major change during a crucial time in his life.
According to the singer, he initially decided to only reinvent his sound, but he realized along the way that the change in his mind needed to be visible on his body as well. He added that all the old tattoos on his body no longer represented the new phase of his life and most of them carried memories he no longer wanted.
Tattoos were relics of extreme emotions and difficult times, and seeing the positive and painful chapter reflected in him was a contrast that had become somewhat permanently etched into his appearance.
Therefore, he consulted famous tattoo artist ROXX for a new concept, and once he saw the large-scale blackout design, which he thought was a dark mode reset, he knew it was time to press play.
Machine Gun Kelly encountered a health problem during a massive transformation
Although the result of his bold move sparked several remakes online, the rapper mostly spoke behind the scenes, including how his body and health reacted to the process.
The rapper noted that ROXX told him the entire process of covering his arms, chest and stomach would take two years, but urged him to make it a record two months.
Although he was warned about the pain and possible effects of an accelerated labor, the rapper committed to seeing it through, and he felt the impact.
After the first week of sessions, MGK’s lymph nodes around his shoulders and under his arms were affected, causing changes in his skin and sleeping patterns, as well as difficulty moving.
MGK added that moving away never crossed his mind, as the experience was not just a cosmetic transformation but a challenge that showcased his personal and creative evolution.
His illness during the process wasn’t the only shocking thing; the rapper revealed that he also chose not to use anesthesia or anesthetic treatment while ROXX worked his magic.
