World Cup celebrations in Mexico Total fiesta in Los Angeles, Mexico
Published
Mexican fans took over entire streets of Los Angeles on Tuesday night, celebrating their soccer team’s huge victory at the 2026 FIFA World Cup…and the police intervened.
Watch the videos…celebrations erupted in full force across Los Angeles with hundreds of people dressed in green Mexican soccer jerseys lighting fireworks and doing donuts in their cars.

The police eventually came to break up the party… but that was easier said than done.
The fireworks continued to go off…some of the pyrotechnics even flew towards the officers.
The party wasn’t just in Los Angeles… Mexico City welcomed an incredible mass of people gathered at the Centro Histórico, where literally hundreds of thousands of people stood under fireworks and green and red lights, waving Mexican flags and throwing a large-scale party after their national team’s victory.
The scenes at CDMX make Los Angeles look like child’s play…with waves of Mexican fans creating a sea of green as far as the eye can see!
It’s a big moment for the Mexico faithful…before Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Ecuador, their team hadn’t won a World Cup knockout match since they last hosted the tournament in 1986…and although the tournament has now added the round of 16 — which adds an extra knockout match into the mix — it’s still a big moment for The Tricolor.
Mexico now awaits their opponent in the round of 16…either England or the Democratic Republic of Congo…and another victory would call for an even bigger celebration.
Put the Corona on ice!!!
