Spain’s King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia and their two daughters observed a minute of silence on Friday in tribute to the victims of a forest fire in the south of the country which claimed the lives of at least 11 people. “From this place, located about 150 kilometers from where this tragedy occurred, we want to convey our condolences, our affection and our support to all those who lost loved ones,” the king said during a ceremony at the San Javier air base, in Murcia.
