LeBron James Still “processing” my move from the Sixers??? I said it last week!!!

It seems that LeBron James was going to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers all along… because The King’s comments from last week resurfaced Friday — and it couldn’t have been more obvious.
James has made a number of podcast appearances during Fanatics Fest in New York…and on a live episode of “Mind The Game,” his guest co-host Tyrese Haliburton had an interesting way of asking a question about his career.
“What are you doing, year 76??” » asked Hali. The four-time champion joked that it was more like the year ’79… and the two continued the conversation. There’s a good chance Haliburton knew about it before he took the stage, since James even admitted to broaching the subject before.
In a separate interview on “The Shop,” James wasn’t so subtle… when he uttered the Sixers’ “Trust The Process” slogan not once, but TWICE when asked about his impending decision at the time.
As soon as James said it, the fans in the crowd went NUTS… assuming it was a huge breadcrumb trail.
James and co-hosts Taco Bennett And Steelo edge immediately tried to put out the fire…claiming it was a phrase long before Philadelphia adopted it. But if Bennett and Brim didn’t already know where he intended to sign, why would they be so defensive?
Based on these two instances, it’s fair to assume that James actually knew what he was planning to do last week…and he dragged out the announcement to play all over the NBA again.
As we previously reported, James is chasing more rings with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown and the rest of the Sixers…who were swept by the eventual NBA champion New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals last season.
It’s a strange decision for his legacy… but perhaps a good decision in terms of basketball, if the team can stay healthy.
