Tom Cruise And Katie Holmes‘ girl Suri Noelle joins the family business… because she has just landed a role in a modern adaptation of Shakespeare in Scotland.

Suri – who stopped using her last name “Cruise” in 2024 – and a group of other Carnegie Mellon University students are heading across the Atlantic to perform “Midsummer!” » … a translation into modern verse of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.

The piece will blend “Appalachian folk and house music, queer liberation and Pittsburgh’s industrial aesthetic.” Despite the overtly American elements included in the work, the play will be performed throughout the Edinburgh Fringe Festival next month… with performances daily at 12:30 p.m.

There are a few performances in the United States before the cast heads to Scotland…with shows on July 31 and August 1 taking place at the Peirce Studio at the Trust Arts Education Center in Pittsburgh.

Suri is studying musical theater at CMU after performing in her high school musical production “The Addams Family.” Previous reports said she was studying a degree in fashion…but it seems the acting bug is a genetic trait.

We don’t know if her famous dad plans to go see her perform — the two are particularly estranged… but we have a feeling Katie will make the trip.

Break your leg, Suri!
