Indian education minister resigns after massive protests over leaked exam papers

Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said on Saturday he had resigned from his post following massive protests calling for his dismissal. Public confidence in India’s university testing system has been shaken by a series of exam irregularities, including the leak of a medical entrance questionnaire that forced more than two million applicants to retake the test.
