Kanye “Ye” West is wasting no time rejoicing after finally closing the chapter on one of the legal battles that have dogged him over the past two years.
The rapper was recently spotted having fun on the Spanish island of Mallorca, where he appeared relaxed and in good spirits just days after reaching a settlement ending a long-running dispute.

Ye looked ready to put months of legal drama behind him after stepping out for a high-profile night out in Ibiza just days after settling his legal dispute with his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta. Instead of keeping a low profile, the rapper headed straight to one of the island’s busiest nightlife spots, appearing to enjoy the moment.
Videos from the venue showed the Grammy winner standing amid a packed crowd at Pacha Ibiza as RÜFÜS DU SOL performed at the club’s closing party. Far from staying in a private VIP section, the music mogul was seen dancing among other partygoers as flashing lights filled the room.
The celebration follows both sides agreeing to an unconditional settlement in the case, which is expected to be officially closed within 45 days. The terms were kept secret, but when Ye appeared in the public eye, he seemed ready to put one of his most closely watched legal battles behind him, according to TMZ.
The lawsuit became more serious with each amendment
Although the legal dispute is now resolved, the allegations against the rapper have become increasingly serious as the case has progressed. What started as claims related to her employment eventually turned into multiple charges after Lauren Pisciotta changed her lawsuit multiple times.
The former assistant claimed the rapper subjected her to repeated misconduct while she worked for him, expanding the scope of the case beyond its initial filing.
The new accusations include Ye sexually assaulting Pisciotta during a business trip, kissing her despite her protests, exposing himself and making unwanted advances. She also accused him of false imprisonment, criminal harassment, sexual battery and attempting to use her as a “sexual gift” for others, which added a level of intensity to the trial.
The expanded complaint became one of several legal challenges facing the Grammy winner before the dispute was ultimately resolved by an unconditional settlement, the terms of which were not made public.
Kanye West called the trial a changing story
Ye’s camp strongly rejected all allegations made by his former aide, arguing that the lawsuit became less credible each time it was revised. Rather than addressing individual demands, his representatives focused on what they described as repeated changes in Pisciotta’s version of events.
The rapper’s side, represented by its spokesperson, said through Yeezy ambassador Milo Yiannopoulos that the latest filing was the fourth iteration of the complaint and that all amendments were in direct opposition to prior accusations.
The spokesperson scoffed at the allegations as unfounded and “fantastic fiction.” He said Ye had never been accused of violent crimes and claimed Pisciotta was trying to extort the musician.
Ye has consistently denied all allegations against him throughout the litigation. His representatives argued the allegations lacked credibility, although the two sides ultimately reached an unconditional settlement that will see the case dismissed, according to reports.
The Blast previously reported that Ye’s team repeatedly claimed the developments in the complaint damaged their own credibility while continuing to deny each accusation.
Model recounts disturbing encounter on set
Even as a legal battle draws to a close, Ye continues to face charges on several fronts. Among them are claims by former America’s Next Top Model contestant Jennifer An that the rapper choked her and put his fingers in her mouth during the filming of a 2010 music video.
An said this happened after Ye suddenly took over the production, choosing her to perform a scene before making it a traumatic experience for her. She then sued for breach of contract, and Ye’s lawyer claimed it was an art and therefore protected by the First Amendment.
His lawyers asked the court to dismiss the case, arguing that the allegations do not constitute illegal conduct. The Blast reported that the defense characterized the disputed scene as theatrical expression and not criminal behavior.
Kanye West faces new seven-figure legal threat
Even after settling one legal battle, Ye faces another costly court battle. A former employee refuses to back down and returns to court to secure a seven-figure payout tied to the rapper’s troubled Malibu property.
Tony Saxon asked the court to award his legal team $1.2 million in attorney fees after partially winning his employment law case. His lawyers said they spent hundreds of hours on the case that lasted nearly three years and incurred high costs while accusing the rapper’s side of prolonging the litigation.
The request comes after a jury awarded Saxon $140,000 for medical expenses and pain and suffering, while rejecting several of his other claims. The rapper’s legal team has vowed to appeal the sentence and continue to fight the case.
