God really loves you.
He doesn’t love you, some days… He doesn’t just love you after you nobly bought a home-cooked meal for a cancer patient. He doesn’t just love you when you go out of your way to carry an old lady’s grocery bags to her car. He doesn’t just love you when you’ve had a beautiful candlelight moment with God and then continued to sing worship songs during the day.
He loves you.
He loves you on your good days.
He loves you on your bad days.
He loves you when you are at your best.
He loves you at your worst.
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor demons, nor the present nor the future, nor any power, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. » (Romans 8:38-39)
Your mistakes are never greater than God’s love. Your concept of the evil you do is never greater than the price Jesus paid. In fact, the price Jesus paid actually paid for grace, for you. Grace is the path that gets us back on track with God; not only that, but His unmerited favor, like the wind at your back, accompanies you.
Don’t underestimate yourself.
Don’t compare yourself to others.
Don’t deny that God still wants you.
Do not think that His grace is broken because of you.
It’s not. The devil is a liar.
You are well with God, thanks to Jesus.
God has given you the righteousness of Jesus, so that you can always return to the path of righteousness and obedience, with ease.
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. » – 2 Corinthians 5:21
Oh, isn’t the grace of our Lord Jesus so amazing?!
If you feel off the path, repent of your sins, receive His grace, and return to the path of holiness.
If you feel abandoned by God, humble yourself, release the false truth, and return to His arms.
If you don’t feel wanted, let go of the sob story and accept that the Holy Spirit has chosen to make His home in you (1 Cor. 6:19).
God wants you, God wants you, God wants you. Period. Exclamation mark.
God’s grace is enough to restore you in God’s sight, even when you feel horribly and terribly unlovable.
Glory to God!
Praise the Lamb!
Jesus died with his arms wide open.
I’m still waiting for your big return.
