Mike Epps shaded Nicki Minaj after she called herself Trump’s ‘number one fan’
Epps’ joke about Minaj follows the “Barbie Tingz” singer’s declaration that she was Trump’s “number one fan” at an event in Washington.
According to a previous report from The Blast, Minaj praised the POTUS and said the hate she’s received since announcing her support for him only makes her want to align herself more with him.
Minaj also came out to media and community members, saying, “And you know, smear campaigns, that’s not going to work. »
A few weeks earlier, Minaj stunned audiences when she showed up at a Turning Point USA meeting with Erika Kirk and declared her “utmost respect and admiration” for Trump.

“He did it, I don’t even know if he knows it, but he gave so many people hope that there is a chance to beat the bad guys and win and do it with your head held high and your integrity intact. He’s from Queens, New York, like me,” she said.
Minaj can’t handle Trump’s ‘harassment’

In an interview with Katie Miller, according to Fox News, Minaj also shared that part of her allegiance to Trump stems from the severe “harassment” he received from the public.
“Religious freedom is something very important to me,” she said. “But if I’m honest, President Trump…because when I saw how he was treated over and over again, I just couldn’t stand it.”
“I felt the same way, you know, a lot of intimidation in this man’s campaign, and all the lies. I felt like this had been done to me for so many years, and I was watching in real time this happen to someone else, and I didn’t think he deserved it. And it made me think, I can’t do this anymore,” she added.

Minaj fought with Don Lemon

In addition to Epps, Minaj recently drew the ire of former CNN anchor Don Lemon, who called the rapper an “ignorant… bigot” who doesn’t like black people, according to The Blast.
Her comments came after Minaj hurled a homophobic slur at Lemon online, which she doubled down on at another point. His statement was a response to Lemon’s independent reporting during the recent ICE protests in Minneapolis.
“Nicki Minaj will do whatever is politically useful for her,” Lemon said. “And once again, she’s ignorant; she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, and she always talks about things she doesn’t know. Nicki Minaj should just sit down.”
