On February 24, the “The Young Woman and the Sea” actress took to her Instagram Stories to share two posts with her followers. The first was a promotional video for “We Bury The Dead” and the second was a black and white photo promoting his upcoming role in “Ebenezer.”
In December 2025, Deadlinereported that she is one of the new faces attached to the star-studded adaptation, as she will join the “Harry Potter” alum. Rupert Grint and star of “The Hunger Games” Sam Claflinamong others, in Paramount and Ti West’s new version of Charles Dickens’ classic novel.

Featured star of “severance pay” Tramell Tillman and “Lord of the Rings” alum Ian McKellen have also signed, but it will star in “Pirates of the Caribbean” Johnny Depp who will play the titular role. At this time, Ridley’s role in the film is unknown.

While promoting his new film “We Bury The Dead” in January 2025, Ridley said Paradethat the new film is “worth the wait,” adding, “It will come when it’s ready.”

During his exit interview, Kennedy revealed that Kinberg is currently “working” on the trilogy and hopes he will deliver something in the coming months. “He wrote something that we read in August, and it was very good, but not there. We shook up the story quite a bit, and then spent a lot of time on the treatment, which he finished literally about four weeks ago,” she said. “And it’s a very detailed treatment, about 70 pages. And so he should give us something in March.”

Daisy Ridley reveals her favorite Star Wars movie

As fans eagerly await more updates regarding Ridley’s new film, she told Parade that 1977’s “A New Hope” is still her favorite “Star Wars” movie “because it’s all the origins of everything.”
She praised “the beautiful staging of… the creation of all these wonderful people, characters and the universe”.
She also told the publication that she can’t wait to watch “Starfighter,” adding, “I think it’ll be great,” and praised the “awesome group of actors” involved in the project.
