Shortly after Flavor Flavor announced its desire to organize a party for the American women’s hockey team in Las Vegas After declining an invitation to the White House from President Donald Trump, the rapper took action to make sure this party was the best.
After putting out a call for help to bring the team to Vegas and host them for an epic celebration, Flavor Flav went further and launched a GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to ensure it’s a party no one will soon forget.

Thursday morning, Flavor Flav launched the GoFundMe campaign and in just a few hours, it has already raised almost $10,000 of the $50,000 goal.
“Flavor Flav, the legendary rapper and Hollywood personality, has long been a champion of America’s Olympic athletes. This year, he is stepping up his efforts to shine a light on the achievements of women in sports by helping to fund and celebrate them,” the GoFundMe description begins.
“After the United States Women’s Olympic Hockey Team won gold at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Flav took to social media to deliver what he called a ‘real celebration’ in Las Vegas. Money raised will support “She Got Game Weekend” in Las Vegas

The campaign description continues: “Your generosity will ensure that these athletes are properly celebrated in Las Vegas and receive meaningful financial support for their futures. Please join us in honoring these incredible women and ensuring they get the recognition and resources they deserve. Every contribution helps make this celebration possible and has a lasting impact on the athletes who inspire us all.
Three hours after the rapper started the fundraiser, there are already nearly 200 donations, with the largest being $500 from multiple people.

How the Flavor Flav plan started
If the United States women’s hockey team wants a real celebration and invitation, I will welcome them to Las Vegas. Have great dinners, shows and good times. I’m sure I can find a hotel and an airline to help me out here and celebrate these women for real, for real. pic.twitter.com/NhtRJ8UxKE
– FLAVOR FLAV (@FlavorFlav) February 23, 2026
Flavor Flav posted his original invitation Monday on X, formerly known as Twitter, after the women declined the trip to Washington, DC.
“If the United States women’s hockey team wants a real celebration and invitation, I will welcome them to Las Vegas,” he wrote. “Have great dinners and shows and good times. I’m sure I can find a hotel and an airline to help me out here and celebrate these women for real, for real.”
So the planning began and in just a few days it really took off. We can’t wait to see how it all turns out. If any city is ready for this celebration, it’s Las Vegas.
