Today we welcome Tina Chen Craig. The entrepreneur, trendsetter and founder of U Beauty is here to tell us about her skincare routine and how her brand is revolutionizing an industry with a unique delivery system and simple products that work.

We had the opportunity to interview Tina for the blog and we just had to know everything about her morning and night routines and what’s next for U Beauty.

Tell us a little about yourself and how U Beauty came to be.
Tina Chen Craig: U Beauty was born out of pure cosmetic confusion. I was using about 15 products twice a day and still suffered from sensitivity and rosacea. Nothing seemed efficient, streamlined or scientific. I always thought that simplicity and high performance should live in the same bottle, but nothing on the market offers that.
I reconnected with a friend, Katie Borghese and together we created our OG hero: The Resurfacing Compound.
This was the beginning of U Beauty.
U Beauty has rave reviews. What makes the brand different?
CTC: Our exclusive SIREN capsule technology
. We focus on deliverynot just the ingredients. This means getting actives exactly where they’re needed for fast, visible results with less irritation.
What was it like starting a business when I was a mom?
CTC: My son always came first. The only real compromise was my social life, which was never seen as a sacrifice. I also prioritize self-care. It makes me a better mother and founder.
What is the most important step in a skincare routine?
CTC: Cleaning. It all starts there. This is why we created MANTLE Skin Revitalizing Cleanser to cleanse, condition and prep skin equally.
What does your AM/PM routine look like?
CTC: AM and PM are similar, with some nighttime additions:

- Resurfacing Compound (eight steps in one; my ultimate game changer)

- SMOOTH Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum

At night, I add BARRIER Bioactive Treatment 2 to 3 times a week.
Do you have any other beauty essentials that you use daily?

What is your skincare philosophy?

Are there any wellness practices you swear by?
CTC: Cold therapy. Cryo, cold dives, and rolling ice. Me too dry brush 3 to 5 times a week.
What’s next for U Beauty?
CTC: We are launching at Sephora. It’s a good time and I can’t wait for more people to experience the textures, technology and results.
