California’s governor gave a nod to Noem’s ouster Thursday with a social media post… a sort of “In Memoriam” for Noem’s short tenure as president. AssetThe Secretary of DHS.

Newsom’s post features a slideshow of photos of Noem shown on a version of Sarah McLachlanthe famous song “I Will Remember You”. It says “IN MEMORIAM KRISTI NOEM 2025 – 2026” and later “IT WAS THE BEST THE WORST MOMENT.”

The Democrat captioned the post: “Gone, but not forgotten.”

As we reported… Trump fired Noem Thursday on social media, naming the Oklahoma senator Markwayne Mullin like his successor.

Noem’s firing follows a tense hearing Tuesday, when Noem was grilled by senators on both sides of the aisle…including Thomas Tillisa Republican from North Carolina who criticized him for his lack of leadership.
