2026 NASCAR Odds: Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney Ahead for Martinsville

Tyler Reddick, Michael Jordan and 23XI have been unstoppable this NASCAR season. Reddick – the driver of the No. 45 car – has won four of the first six races, holds the lead in the NASCAR standings and also leads Bob Pockrass’ most recent power rankings. But he’s not the favorite to win again when the Cup Series heads to Martinsville for the Cook Out 400 on Sunday, March 29 (3:30 p.m. ET, FS1). The current favorites are Denny Hamlin and Ryan Blaney, two drivers who have both entered Victory Lane once this year. Will either earn a second victory this weekend? Blaney entered Victory Lane in Phoenix and Hamlin won in Las Vegas. However, when the series came to Martinsville in the spring of 2025, Denny led 274 laps and took the checkered flag with a margin of victory of 4.617 seconds. Currently, however, Blaney is in slightly better shape than Hamlin in the standings. The driver of the No. 12 car is ranked second in the Cup standings and Denny is fourth. One to watch: Ty Gibbs could be one to watch in Martinsville. In 2026, the JGR driver has an upward trend. During the season, he had four top-10 finishes and three top-five finishes. He enters the weekend after a sixth place at Darlington. In this same race last year at Martinsville, he started 13th and also finished 13th.
