Google I/O 2026: Live updates starting today

Is it that time of year again? Google I/O 2026 kicks off today, with a two-day software showcase taking place May 19-20.

Google tends to reveal its biggest announcements during a keynote, which takes place today at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST (or 3am AET tomorrow if you’re reading from Australia), and we’ll be following that event here.

Google I/O 2026 keynote starts at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. BST, or 3:00 a.m. AET on May 20and you can follow the proceedings via the YouTube link above.
