Florida father slaughtered his daughters and ex-wife before killing himself

Update on suspected murder-suicides in Florida…officials say Ryan Blanch massacred his ex-wife and their daughters before committing suicide.

As we reported…Ryan, his ex-wife, Melanie Hyerand their daughters Savannah And Siennawere found dead with stabbings in their Doral home Tuesday after Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a welfare check.

MDSO suspected a murder-suicide but didn’t know who did the stabbing…and now they’ve determined it was Ryan.

Police did not reveal the motive for the heinous act or say how long they had been dead before they were found.

The investigation is ongoing.

Melanie and Ryan were already married and co-parenting their daughters at the time of their deaths. They each remarried after their separation, although Melanie finalized her divorce in March, according to court records obtained by TMZ.

Ryan’s ex-wife, who divorced in 2024, said 7 Miami News Melanie and Ryan had a toxic relationship and often fought over their children, but they were shocked to learn of their murders.

She remembers… “He was always so kind to his daughters and he loved them dearly. I don’t know what happened.”
