You may have heard the founder of Pvolve, Rachel Katzman on The Bosssticks recently, or maybe you already have the Lauryn Bosstick x Pvolve French blue gear.
Or maybe you’ve been a fan since his first appearance in the series years ago and now you know that Pvolve is Jennifer Anniston’s Favorite Workout (SHE asked Rachel if she could be an ambassador. So major.) You can read more about that here.
Lauryn loves Pvolve because of how she feels. Strong, capable, stable – especially important after childbirth. Think weights mixed with functional movements for everyday life. Find out why Lauryn loves it and why she and Rachel decided to collaborate this message.
We asked Rachel a few questions about the collaboration, her must-have products and her routine. As someone who is beautiful inside and out, smart as a whip, cool, calm and collected, we HAVE to know how she makes all of this happen.
With that, let’s welcome Rachel to the blog.

Rachel Katzman’s morning and evening routine: non-negotiable wellness, workout habits + essentials
Walk us through your morning and evening routine.
AM:
Tongue scraping with a copper tool. Rinse face with lukewarm water.
Lukewarm water or herbal tea with added minerals.
Take my cats outside so they can get some direct sunlight and start checking their emails, pants, and texts.
Training (I have to start my day by moving my body, either with an in-person studio class or even a 20-minute streaming video. It gives me instant energy and puts me in a good mood).
5-10 minutes on my vibrating plate using my ice roller.
Protein-rich breakfast.
PM:
My favorite time of day and the time I spend the most time relaxing and switching off.
Wash my face, continue my Good PEMF with my legs against the wall and my face under my Celluma LED light. I usually listen to a meditation or sometimes calming music.
If I don’t use a mask, I start with my treatments and take the time to massage my face and scalp well. I love using this tool before going to bed to remove knots from the neck and shoulders and massage the scalp.
If I’m very stressed, I like to use the Pulsator calm my nervous system.
I write in my journal, which has been a real game changer for my sleep. Everything in my head is written down on paper.
Then it’s always an episode of Housewives, Summer houseor anything on Well done. I need to completely disconnect before falling asleep
What is a non-negotiable treatment that makes all the difference?
The right kind of cleaner! If your face isn’t properly cleansed beforehand, the rest of your products won’t be as effective. Make sure to wash your face thoroughly from your hairline, up to your ears and under your jawline/chin. If you’ve worn an SPF/makeup cleanser twice, first with an oil cleanser (Epicut) or micellar water (I love these pads), then with your cleanser. I like to use a gentler cleanser so I don’t strip my face (This Or This)
How do you prepare for training?
I love preparing my workout clothes the night before, it saves me time in the morning.
I always do my Sculpt 9 have once my workout is finished. This is Pvolve’s recovery drink which contains all 9 essential amino acids – this has been a huge game changer for me, I have much less muscle soreness which allows me to stay consistent with my routine (tip: add lots of ice and half a lemon to your drink).
I work out earlier in the morning, have my breakfast made and ready in the fridge so it’s easily accessible when I get home. If I’m making eggs, things are on the top shelf ready to grab and prep, if I’m making a smoothie bowl, everything is laid out and waiting for me.
I always have my workout in my calendar! Even though it’s a quick 15-20 minute stream, I schedule it and choose the video the day before!
I’m all about the 5 P’s, Good preparation prevents poor performance.

What do you recommend to women who want to change their body, become strong while remaining calm and grounded?
Find something that you and your body actually enjoy! Your workout should feel good and you should look forward to doing it. This is what will create the habit and make movement a part of your life. Start small, commit to 1 day a week for a month. You will feel so good that 1 day turns into 2 then 3 etc.
With your health, your body, your mind, it’s all about the long term. Yes, we want to see results today, but finding the solution that works for you is what creates consistency and creates long-term sustainable results. I really believe Pvolve may be that thing for you.
What is one small habit that you start each day with that sets the tone for your day?
I always make sure to leave 5-10 minutes in the morning for cuddle time with my cats. Matsu loves nothing more than to be held in my arms like a baby. I put on music and I’m so present in that moment with him and really nothing makes me happier. It instantly calms me down and puts me in a good mood before heading into the work day.
Tell us your top products that everyone should try:
Uggs – the mini II style is my favorite and no, they are not out of style!
Rest and digestion tea – calms my stomach and instantly unblocks it. You can also start your day with it if your digestion is poor.
TSC mouth strip – Without good sleep, how can you function the next day?
Koala cleaning products – Non-toxic is not negotiable. These products work and smell like your home should.
Sculpt 9 – Protein alone is not enough, your body must first break it down into amino acids. Unless you have all 9 essential amino acids in the right ratio, most of that protein goes to waste. Sculpt 9 does just that and also helps with muscle recovery, energy and helps me stay hydrated.
Organ meat – After seeing Lauryn’s Hair Transformation I was sold. Force of nature makes it very easy to obtain all the benefits of the organs without even tasting them. It’s such an easy exchange when I’m cooking.
Tower 28 Lip Pencil Work of art – It’s so creamy and it’s truly the perfect shade. With a little lip balm in the center, everyone always asks me what I’m wearing. I also like color, Color me well use as an eyeliner for a more natural daytime look.
Kyoord Olive Oil – I have tried so many and I always come back to this one. The taste is perfect and it contains 6 to 8 times more polyphenols than your average olive oil.
A newspaper – Writing down your thoughts, putting them on paper and getting them out of your head will help reduce stress, anxiety and support nervous system regulation. Any newspaper or piece of paper will do.
Massage balls – I unroll my feet morning and evening. We carry and hold so much tension in our feet, and without good foot mobility, you will start to feel tension in your legs and hips that shouldn’t be there.
What made Pvolve partner with Lauryn for this collaboration?
I met Lauryn right when I launched Pvolve and from day one she always understood our mission and why. She loved the workout and we just clicked. It has been amazing to watch both of our businesses evolve and grow over the past 8 years and to have a friend that I can watch and learn from.
We’ve been talking about doing a collaboration for so long but nothing was happening until now. I’m all about timing and with Lauryn’s love of bodybuilding and Pvolve launching bodybuilding 2 years ago, it seemed logical.
Lauryn is a health and wellness curator. She’s the ultimate guinea pig, talking to experts all day, hearing the latest and trying everything so we don’t have to. With the fitness industry being completely overwhelming for people, we wanted to simplify it.
With thatyou get your strength, resistance, weights in one system with a 4-week program to take all the guesswork out.
