One of the most important things you can do as a husband is to pray for your wife. And vice versa. Prayer is our most powerful weapon in the world. This is our true connection to Jesus and the best way to intercede for one another. When you read the Bible and pray with and for your wifehe strengthens your bond and helps you feel closer to each other.
Although prayer is powerful, it can be hard. Sometimes we don’t know what to say, and that’s okay. Jesus understands. I hope that These prayers will help you pray for your wife and find the right words. Either way, Jesus hears you. Actually, he works on what your wife needs right now.

1. A prayer for work
Work is where we spend most of our days. The Bible says that we are to work as if we were working for the Lord and not for man. If your wife is happy at work, that’s great. Maybe she is not content and looking for something else. Or maybe she is unemployed at the moment, or things are not going well at a company. Here are some prayers to help you in every situation.
A prayer for employees:
Dear Lord, I thank you that my wife has a job that she loves. Thanks for providing this. I ask you continue to give her this job and she will be an asset to her boss and surrounding coworkers. Help her shine your light and point people to you as she works with her unique gifts and talents. In your name I pray. Amen.
A prayer for the unemployed:
Dear Lord, I am praying for my wife right now. Please lead her to the right job; I pray we have the hours, pay and benefits we need. I know you have the right work in mind and that we must be patient for you to reveal it to him. Lord, please help her not to become discouraged as she looks and applies. Help me encourage him too. Amen.
A prayer for the underemployed:
Dear Lord, I am praying for my wife and her affairs right now. Please lead her to the right customers or bring her the right customers. 4. A prayer for one’s identity
As women, it’s easy for us to let fear and doubt set in about our talents and abilities. The enemy likes to make things worse by making us think twice about what God says about us and what He has given us.
Dear Lord, I pray for my wife and her identity in You. Please help her ignore the fears and doubts that creep into her mind – the inner voices that say what isn’t good enough or can’t do something because she has no experience. I tell the enemy to take whatever you bring him and return to the pit of hell in the name of Jesus. You have no authority here. Lord, I ask you to remind her of what you say she is and how much you love her. Amen.

5. A prayer for her as a mother
Moms have the the hardest work in the world. Not everyone can raise children.
Dear Lord, I thank you for my wife and the excellent mother that she is. She is such a blessing in my life. I pray that you will help him navigate our daily lives peacefully. Give her the courage she needs when the kids are screaming in the backseat while she’s driving down the highway or when her boss asks her to complete another task on her to-do list. 7. A prayer for rest and contentment
As women, it’s easy for us to overcrowd our lives and schedules. Your daughter wants to add another extracurricular activity at the top of the four she already has? Of course. Can you bake three dozen cupcakes for the school bake sale on Monday? You bet. (Today is Friday) Are you able to cover Carissa’s meeting because she is sick? Even if you have a gigantic project due at the end of the week? Of course! We find it hard to say no. The enemy loves it when we push our limits and feel as we can’t say no.
Dear Lord, I love my wife, but it’s so hard for her to say no to anyone. She likes to help and do things for people. However, sometimes she overdoes it. Please help her to slow down, take stock of her commitments, and discern what to say yes to and what to say no to. I worry about her because she doesn’t get any rest. Please push and pull on her heart to tell her that she needs to rest and be content right where she is. Amen.

8. A prayer for her as a wife
Dear Lord, thank you for blessing me and my wife. She is A wonderful personand I wouldn’t want to embark on this journey of life without her. I pray that you will help her in every aspect of her life, from being a mother to being an employee to being my best friend. Help her navigate our daily lives, give her peace and comfort during difficult times, and remind her that you are always with her. Amen.

9. A prayer for your relationships
MMost women have a small group of clost friends who do things together. Yet we know that sometimes personalities clash and arguments and misunderstandings arise. The enemy loves discord and disunity in our closest friendships. This means that he has broken through and gained a foothold.
Dear Lord, I pray for my wife and her group of friends. They are all wonderful ladies and I thank you for THE friendship, wisdom and loyalty they have with my wife. Still, I know that sometimes people don’t get along and it can get ugly. Lord, I pray this does not happen to my wife and her friends.
