“The Real Housewives of Atlanta“stars Todd Tucker And Kandi Burrus are all smiles! After announcing their plans to divorce in November 2025, the two spent the Christmas holidays together and even celebrated the New Year as a family.
Posts featuring Kandi Burruss and Tucker together excited social media users, who flooded the “RHOA” personalities’ Instagram pages with positive comments, suggesting they would love to see the two together again.

As seen on Instagram, Tucker and Burruss celebrated the new year with their kids. “Good year!” Tucker captioned his post. “Here’s my first PLAN of 2026! Create and enjoy family time. The Tuckers.”
While it’s unclear where exactly the Bravo veterans spent their vacation, photos and videos showed the family smiling together, while others showed a crowd of people screaming as the clock struck midnight.
In addition to saying hello to 2026 together, Burruss and Tucker also celebrated Christmas 2025 as a family, as Burruss spoke about his plans during a previous livestream. “Even though we have all this mess right now, we’re still going to do this together for our kids,” she said. “So we’re spending Christmas in New York.”

According to a previous report from The Blast, Burruss announced her split from Tucker in November 2025, saying she made the decision after a lot of “thought and a lot of prayer.”
“I am entering a new chapter regarding my work, my family and my own growth. I am grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years and I ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family,” she said.
In December 2025, Burruss admitted to feeling various emotions since filing for divorce, saying that some days she felt on top of the world, while other days she was overcome with sadness.

“So all the times you saw me online [all smiles] doesn’t mean anything. I experienced that, my child. I experienced it. Life gave me life,” she said.

Tucker made shocking legal demands after divorce announcement
Once news of Burruss and Tucker’s permanent separation made headlines, Tucker responded to Burruss’ legal documents with papers of his own, seeking primary custody of their two children due to his wife’s busy work schedule.
Elsewhere in the documents, Tucker’s legal team requested that the prenup the couple signed before their 2014 wedding be voided, saying he was pressured into signing the papers without his lawyers present.
“Despite this knowledge, [Burruss’] the lawyer presented the final agreement to [Tucker] for signature immediately before the wedding ceremony, without any prior notice or consultation with [Tucker’s team]who had been significantly engaged in the negotiation process,” the filing states.

Kandi Burruss hits back at claims, asks court to remove tapes
As The Blast reported, Burruss didn’t wait long to respond to Tucker’s claims in court, asking that the judge rewatch scenes from his and Tucker’s wedding special, “Kandi’s Wedding,” in which Tucker is seen voluntarily signing their prenup.
“The parties’ journey toward execution of a binding prenuptial agreement was filmed and broadcast on the Bravo Television Network, with the knowledge and consent of both [Burruss] And [Tucker]for their five-part reality television documentary entitled Burruss’s Wedding, which premiered on June 1, 2014,” the documents state.
Fans react to Burruss and Tucker spending the holidays together as a family
Tucker’s post about him and Burruss together left many “RHOA” fans hoping the two might eventually work it out. “I don’t know, I want them to shut up and sort themselves out,” someone wrote. “There is nothing here.” Another user wrote: “Get back together guys. We’ll forget this ever happened!!!”
“I love this. Family is KEY,” added a third user.
“Todd is fighting for his family now,” someone else joked, while another said, “I love how they always show up for their kids despite their differences.”
Burruss shared her own message on her personal Instagram page, telling her followers that she wanted to be surrounded by nothing but love in the coming year. “Positive vibes, transformation and upliftment!!! That’s what I’m aiming for in 2026,” she said.
