Not only are the Ravens fighting to keep their season alive on Sunday, but the Super Bowl champion Jamal Lewis tell TMZ Sports the pressure is high John Harbaugh – who could be a coach for his career.
We shared it with Lewis before the final game of the NFL roster for the 2025-26 campaign… and he says that while the stakes may be high for Harbaugh, that’s when he thrives.
“Coaches make different decisions when their backs are against the wall,” Lewis said. “He’s a great coach. He’s done a lot, a lot, a lot in Baltimore. He’s got a great legacy in Baltimore and he’s done it, you know, he’s done it.”
Lewis went on to say that every good coach faces seasons with different obstacles…it’s all about how he responds to that adversity.
“I know you can’t get a head coaching job by running the football, but at the same time you can’t lose a head coaching job either,” he said. “So continue with what you know, make the right decisions, run the football and be smart, and you will be fine.”
It remains to be seen what a loss means for the Ravens. There’s a lot of pressure on Harbaugh, who has been at the helm for 18 seasons, and it’s fair to say a loss will only allow talk of his job security to grow.
The same can be said for the Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin …his future in the Steel City being called into question.
