- AI-powered translation comes to Air Pro 4+ for free
Earfun engineers have been busy. They just upgraded the Air Pro 4+ headphones, designed all-new clip-on headphones, and also created a new pair of over-ear headphones.
When we reviewed the Earfun Air Pro 4+ headphones, we really liked them, and now they get new powers in the form of AI-based language translation. This is a free update and there are no ongoing usage fees.
The Air Pro 4+ launched in September with a retail price of $99.99 / £89.99 (around AU$280). So, even though they are among the brand’s most expensive models, they remain extremely affordable. And there’s a new white version to accompany the existing black model.
The new AI update will be available from January 6, 2026.
Earfun’s clips are cheap and cheerful
Earfun also announced a new pair of ultra-affordable clips, the Earfun Clip 2 at $79.99 (around £60 / AU$120). Earfun calls them “the world’s first high-resolution comfortable Ear-Clip headphones with AI translation under $80,” and they will be available for purchase starting in March 2026.
The specs are very impressive for the price: the aforementioned AI-powered translation plus 12mm dynamic drivers, a “weightless” open-ear design, up to 40 hours of playback, and Hi-Res Audio certification with LDAC. We expect the price of the world’s best open-back headphones to drop significantly in 2026, and that seems like a good start.
A second model is coming: the Earfun Wave Pro
The argument here is that the Wave Pro These cans were previously announced in September with a planned launch date of January, but it appears that the engineering of this 8-mic ANC system took a little longer than expected.
The Wave Pro X will cost $129.99 (around £97 / AU$196) and will be available in June 2026.
