Bill Belichick 6x SB winner HC not elected to HOF … Seriously!!!!!
Published

Bill Belichick — arguably the greatest football coach of all time — inexplicably failed on his first Hall of Fame ballot… which means the man with 8 rings will NOT be going to Canton this year!
Predictably, upon hearing this ridiculous news, everyone around the sport wondered… how?

Belichick’s resume is unmatched. He is a six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach and won two more as an assistant with the New York Giants. Bill was named AP NFL Coach of the Year three times and won 333 games as a HC, including the playoffs.

This snub sent some of the world’s best players into a frenzy, with JJ Watt react on X.
“I can’t read it right. It must be a Hall of Fame knockoff or something, it can’t be the real NFL Hall of Fame. There’s not a world in which Bill Belichick shouldn’t be a first-ballot Hall of Famer,” the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year said.
Patrick Mahomes also weighed in, writing, “Insane…I don’t even understand how this could be possible.”
The supporters too, including one which sums up the feelings of many people around football. “I’m not a fan of BB… But it’s criminal!”

Former Steelers DB turned analyst Ryan Clark also added… “Bill Belichick not being a Hall of Famer on the first ballot means no coach should ever be. That means the voters decided there was no coaching resume that warranted consideration on the first ballot!”
“He is the GREATEST and most ACCOMPLISHED coach of all time! It’s obvious!”
ESPN reported that Belichick was “disappointed” after finding out he didn’t make the cut.
FWIW, several coaches made it to the first round… Don Shula, Chuck NollAnd Thomas Landry.
What a joke.
