Deadline for ransom for Nancy Guthrie kidnapping expires

Last deadline to pay ransom following kidnapping of “TODAY” presenter Savannah Guthriethe mother, Nancy Guthrie, is now expired… and there is still no idea – at least publicly – where it is. at 5 p.m. Arizona time today.

That deadline was Monday at 5 p.m. Arizona time…and just a few hours ago, Savannah recorded and released a solo video imploring the public to keep their eyes open for anything that might help solve the case.

Two nights ago, Savannah and her siblings, Annie And Cameronshared another video agreeing to pay a $6 million ransom to bring their mother home.

In the alleged ransom letter sent last week to various media outlets, including TMZ…the first deadline was Thursday at 5 p.m., which changed the alleged kidnappers’ demands, and the second deadline was Monday, February 9 at 5 p.m.

A new communication about the kidnapping was sent to a local television station on Friday… however, the media outlet did not reveal all the details.

of Savannah latest video Monday afternoon, they appeared alone and said they believed their mother felt the public’s love and prayers. Although she expresses gratitude, it also appears that they haven’t heard anything else from the kidnappers…and the investigation doesn’t reveal enough information.

Detectives still have no person of interest connected to Nancy’s disappearance… according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

In a statement released Sunday, the department said, “The investigation into Nancy Guthrie is ongoing. Follow-up continues at multiple locations. No suspects, persons of interest or vehicles have been identified.”

As you know… Nancy was missing Last Sunday, February 1st, after not showing up at church. Annie and Annie’s husband, Thomas Cioniwere the last to see her at dinner the day before.

As we told you… Nancy is 84 years old and not in very good health. She has a pacemaker and needs medication daily. It is unclear if she is receiving her pills.
