Legal documents for the business deal revealed the musician agreed to sell her ownership stake in the hits to music publishing company Primary Wave.

It’s still unclear how much the legendary musician was paid in the deal, but inside sources have compared it to Justin Bieber’s payment for catalog sales.

As TMZ noted, transaction documents confirmed that Spears, currently managed by Cade Hudson, signed the deal on December 30. She would be very pleased and happy with the sale and would have celebrated the time spent with the children.

Spears’ hit tracks like “Baby One More Time,” “Break The Ice,” “I Wanna Go,” “I’m a Slave 4 U,” “Sometimes,” “Womanizer,” “Toxic” and more are now owned by Primary Wave.

Spears drew the battle line with her family in 2021 when she testified against her father for being violent while she was in his care during his conservatorship.

As shared by The Blast, the actress revealed that her father urged her to work against her wishes, forbade her from removing her IUD to have another child, and forced her to go to rehab and take lithium.

The singer’s mother and sister were not left out in her demands. Spears accused them of watching her suffer this abuse idly, knowing full well that she was being controlled under the conservatorship.

The singer and her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, even got into a memoir war in which the musician accused her sister of capitalizing on her misery in her memoir “The Woman In Me.”

Since freeing herself from her conservatorship, the media personality has worked to fix so many things in her life, including her relationship with her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The singer welcomed her two sons with her ex, Kevin Federline, and during the divorce, he requested full custody of the children, which he obtained by providing them with a stable environment. It was also the same year that Spears was brought into her conservatorship program.

In 2024, Spears reunited with Jayden and they spent some quality time in Los Angeles, which she celebrated by posting a photo of her son on her Instagram.

Last year, her ex-husband confirmed that Spears and her sons were sorting out their relationship and that they had always loved their mother. Federline stressed that his wish had been for years for the boys to get closer to the singer, and now it has come true.

Congratulations, Britney Spears!
