Karen Huger is out of prison and returning to her Bravo roots, as she prepares to make her return to the “The Real Housewives of Potomac» for the upcoming three-part reunion which begins on February 15.
However, before fans could see her join Andy Cohen and his castmates, Huger stopped by the recently canceled show “Sherri” to talk about her 6-month sentence for drunk driving.

Karen Huger says she’s ‘cured’ after prison sentence for drunk driving
During her appearance on Sherri Shepherd’s daytime talk show on Thursday, February 12, “RHOP” star Karen Huger opened up about her time in prison, her castmates, her sobriety and more.
Shepherd opened the interview by complimenting Huger’s appearance, to which the reality star remarked that her outward appearance now needed to be “cured” from her decades-long battle with alcohol and prescription drug addiction.
“It doesn’t reflect what God has done for me since I healed myself,” she told Shepherd.
Asked about her actions that led to her prison sentence, Huger added: “No one should drink and drive. I was wrong. Okay. I was completely wrong. I’m so grateful no one was killed.”

Huger Says She’s Only Been Drunk On Camera Once on ‘RHOP’

Huger then turned to her “RHOP” castmates and told Shepherd that the only time she was drunk on camera was at a gathering at Monique Samuels’ home, which fans of the show know is far from accurate, as Huger was seen numerous times throughout the show’s 10 seasons intoxicated.
“It remains to be seen if I’ll come back,” the reality star said of her future on the long-running Bravo hit, but would not confirm her full-time return for Season 11 as contracts have not yet been signed.
However, she explained to Shepherd why she decided not to tell her classmates about her prison sentence.
“I told them absolutely nothing,” she said. “Because they need a storyline, and I do that very often.”

Karen Huger previously did a one-on-one interview with Andy Cohen

During their February 1 interview at Huger’s home, Cohen asked him myriad questions about his life in prison, his history of addiction, and much more.
However, fans were very shocked when she shared the current status of her marriage with husband Ray Huger.
Huger told Cohen that after his time in prison, Ray “now has a totally different wife” and that currently their marriage is a “work in progress.”
“He has a stranger,” she continued. “Ray said that if, after I got rid of the monkey and we decided not to be together, he might let me go. He wouldn’t want to let me go, but if for some reason we found out that we did our best on this course, he would let me go.”

Karen Huger and Wendy Osefo Have ‘Brutal’ Confrontation During ‘RHOP’ Reunion

During her recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” cast member Stacey Rusch revealed that despite Huger’s happiness at being home, that hasn’t stopped her from verbally sparring with Osefo.
When Cohen asked her a fan question: who Huger was least excited to see at the reunion, Rusch immediately responded that it was Osefo, a meeting she called “brutal.” Cohen also quickly co-signed his account of what happened between the two, adding that “it was a lot.”
“RHOP” fans will remember that during the Season 9 reunion last year, Huger recorded a special video message for her castmates and thanked them as she awaited sentencing, but she notably left Osefo’s name out of her message.

Tensions are clearly lingering between them, and now fans will get to see just how bad things got between them during the reunion that was taped late last month.
The dynamics of ‘RHOP’ have changed since Huger was last a cast member

In his absence, things among the ladies of “RHOP” have changed, as new cast members have been added and new alliances have been formed. When Huger was last on the show, newbies Angel Massie and Tia Glover, as well as former full-time cast member Monique Samuels, weren’t there.
Additionally, the white flag truce between Gizelle Bryant and Osefo was not as obvious as it is today. Then there’s the dynamic between Rusch and most of the ladies, as she’s been constantly accused of lying all season.
