Shia La Beouf I Bought a NOLA Home for $1 Million After Mia Goth Split
Published

Shia La Beouf bought a house for just over $1 million in New Orleans a few months after splitting from Mia Gothic — a fresh start that he hoped would mark a new chapter — TMZ has learned.
Sources close to the situation tell TMZ… following the breakup last yearShia packed up her life in Los Angeles and moved to the Big Easy in December. We’re told he purchased a 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom Uptown cottage for just over $1 million, about 20 minutes from the French Quarter. Our sources say the move was intentional… he told locals he wanted to “reset and refocus.”

Family played a major role. Shia is extremely close to his father Jeffreywho lives in the neighborhood, and we’re told the two regularly go to local bars together. Our sources say getting closer to him was a priority.

Locals tell us Shia lives alone and tells people he is sober and determined to stay on the right path. Those who have met him describe him as friendly and approachable – far from a stereotypical Hollywood presence – quiet, soft-spoken and often inviting acquaintances over for drinks. He also became recognizable cruising around town in a jacked-up black and gray Ram truck.

We’re told that when Shia moved out of the Los Angeles home he shared with Mia in early January, he took all of her belongings. Mia was not present during the move, although it is unclear whether she moved at the same time.

Shia’s Big Easy reset has been experiencing some turbulence recently. As we reported…he was arrested in the French Quarter Monday night after allegedly punching a bar employee, sparking a fight before police arrived. He was later charged with two counts of simple battery, casting new scrutiny on his sobriety journey following his court-ordered rehab in 2017.
