Actress Was ‘Weak in the Knees’ During Some Scenes in Wuthering Heights

In Wuthering Heights, Robbie took on the role of Catherine Earnshaw, while Elordi played her brooding love interest, Heathcliff.

The drama featured a series of steamy encounters as well as deeply emotional and romantic moments that captivated fans of heartbreaking love stories.

Robbie herself admitted that she was swept away by the intensity of it all, revealing to British Vogue in its January 2026 issue, some scenes left her “weak in the knees.”

Standout moments included a scene in which Heathcliff lifted Cathy effortlessly with one arm, as well as another tender sequence where he shielded her face from the rain.

Explaining why she felt this way, the actress noted that such gestures reflect the kind of old-fashioned masculine bravado that women swoon over.

Recently, Elordi also gave his own take on capturing the intimate moments of “Wuthering Heights.”

He described the scenes as “super technical” and detailed examples from the film where this idea played out.

“It’s like ‘Action’ and it’s like a horse on the racetrack – right from the start,” the actor told The Sun in an interview. “It’s no different than choreographing a fight scene or a dance sequence.”

“It’s super technical, especially the scene where it’s not a sex scene, but where I’m on top [of Margot] with my hands – it’s a choreography because in that kind of light you only have limited space to move,” Elordi added.

“So what you do has to fit into the frame and work with the lighting,” he added.
