Andrea Constand — who sent Bill Cosby in prison with her testimony about how he drugged and sexually assaulted her – is now reportedly helping a new victim of the disgraced actor-comedian.
Constand took the witness stand to testify again on Thursday, but this time it was for a civil case filed by Cosby’s 84-year-old accuser, Donna Motsingeraccording to The New York Times. Motsinger, a former waitress, claims she was 31 when Cosby drugged and raped her in 1972 after taking her to one of his comedy shows.

Constand and two other women are called to testify in the civil case because their stories are similar to Motsinger’s. During hours of testimony in Los Angeles Superior Court, Constand described her horrific experience with Cosby in 2004, when she was director of operations for the women’s basketball program at Temple University. Cosby was his mentor, who was a prominent alumnus of the college.
Constand said she was “really shocked” and “humiliated by what happened, “and I think I was pretty scared and scared.” She also testified that Cosby gave her 3 pills that incapacitated her before sexually assaulting her at his Pennsylvania home.

During his criminal trial in 2018, Cosby was convicted of 3 counts of aggravated indecent assault for drugging and assaulting Constand, and sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison.
After serving 2 years behind bars, Cosby was released after winning his appeal on a technicality. A judge ruled that the prosecutor should not have charged Cosby because his predecessor had previously promised not to charge the actor.
