2026 NASCAR Odds: Pole sitter Tyler Reddick favorite for Darlington

Darlington was good with Denny Hamlin in 2025. In the spring race he took the checkered flag and when the Cup Series returned in the fall he finished seventh. Currently, the momentum appears to be his, as he enters this weekend’s race having held off the field for a big win in Las Vegas. However, Tyler Reddick also gained momentum after winning the first three races of the season and taking pole for Darlington. He won the first three races of the year, took pole at Darlington and sits first in the standings with a 112 lap lead and 37 stage points. In the spring of 2025, he led 42 laps in this race and finished fourth. Denny’s Day Again? : Denny Hamlin won this race in the spring of 2025 and is off to a strong start in 2026. He has three top-10 finishes and two top-five finishes. And as noted above, he managed to hold off Chase Elliott near the end of the race in Las Vegas to take his first win of the year. He has also led 152 laps so far this year and finishes 12th on average. One to watch: William Byron is the one fans will be watching at Darlington. Driver Hendrick tends to ride hard on this track. In the spring of last year, he posted the fastest lap (29.39) and finished second to Hamlin. And like Hamlin, Byron has some momentum going into this race. He finished third last weekend in Las Vegas after starting ninth and leading 26 laps on the day.
