Allison Williams is playing it very safe right now — avoiding any drama related to his former ‘Girls’ co-star Lena Dunham and his assertions about Adam Pilote.
Watch the clip – Allison says she only managed to get through the “Girls” board reading section of Lena’s new memoir, so she’s not speaking out about the actor and his alleged behavior just yet.
Allison Williams says she needs to read Lena Dunham’s memoir before “saying anything” about her accusations about Adam Driver’s behavior on the set of ‘Girls.’
Williams also adds that she and Dunham “love each other” and share a “permanent bond.” pic.twitter.com/j7jFxon83D @Variety
Allison kept things cool, calm and collected during Variety’s red carpet interview on Tuesday, not hinting at any personal drama or similar experiences with Adam herself — simply adding that she loves Lena and that their bond runs deep.
ICYMI, Lena’s book ‘Famesick’ takes aim at Adam – who played her boyfriend in the HBO series – accusing him from explosive tantrums, screaming matches and even property damage on set.
Despite creating the show, Lena says she gave him a pass because of his talent. Adam hasn’t said a word – and judging by Allison’s careful dodging, no one else is rushing towards him either.
