More than three years after the end of the series, the series returns with a new chapter.

Goodbye, goodbye didn’t really mean goodbye forever when Ted Lasso aired its final episode in 2023, and the series’ resurrection as a fourth season brings the coach back to the field. In January, Apple TV shared that the series would return this summer, and on Tuesday, the streamer revealed that the premiere would land on August 5.
Along with a release date, Apple TV released a trailer showing the Richmond coach leading a women’s soccer club. It seems romance is also in the air for several fan-favorite characters, including Rebecca, Hannah Waddingham’s Keeley and Roy, and Coach Lasso himself.
Season 4 will air from August 5 to Wednesday, October 7, and new episodes will arrive weekly.
The series brings back Sudeikis as Ted and Waddingham as Rebecca, as well as Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Jeremy Swift as Higgins, Juno Temple as Keeley and Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent. Faye Marsay, Tanya Reynolds, Rex Hayes, Jude Mack and Grant Feely are among the newcomers.
