Kylie Jenner continues to prove that beauty is suffering, and sometimes damaged facial features!
The socialite sparked mixed reactions on social media platforms after her bold choice for this year’s Met Gala.
She took the “Fashion is an Art” dress code seriously, going all out with her outfit and makeup. However, Kylie Jenner was going to be in shock after the event.
Kylie Jenner unable to contain her laughter after post-met gala shock

The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” alum updated fans on her Instagram Story after the prestigious fashion event, revealing she paid the price for her bold fashion statement. The video shows Kylie unable to stop laughing at herself.
She showed off her eyebrows, which appeared to have been damaged after being bleached to match her skin for the event. In the clip, Kylie had one eyebrow that had been successfully bleached and turned black again, but it looked thinner than before.
“My eyebrows are damaged. What is it? What is this?” Kylie asked between giggles. “It looks horrible,” she said while someone in the background could be heard laughing and blaming Kylie’s famous hairstylist, Iggy Rosales, for leaving her “without hair.”

For the annual Met Gala, Kylie used her body as a canvas to express her artistic side, as seen in photos shared on her Instagram page. She stepped out in a sexy yet daring ensemble that gave off the illusion of a slip-off dress, with a voluminous, embellished satin skirt that hung at her waist.
Kylie was fully committed to the half-dressed look, wearing a nude corset with fake nipples and a navel cutout. She also bleached her eyebrows to match her skin, giving the illusion that she had shaved her eyebrows, while her hair fell over one shoulder in grateful waves.
The custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture ensemble impressed some fans, who thought she perfectly embodied the “Fashion is Art” dress code. On the other hand, some fans argued that Kylie’s nude illusion went too far and wasn’t Met Gala worthy.
Fans were divided over the TV personality’s daring ensemble
Fans have shared their thoughts on Kylie’s outfit on X, with one supporter raving about her perfect ensemble. “Honestly, this look is just stunning. The cut, the fabric, the way the train moves – everything seems effortless,” they wrote. Another agreed, stating:
“Definitely my favorite outfit. I love how the top blends into her skin.”
A third applauded Kylie, comparing her outfit to a Greek statue. On the other hand, critics were not impressed and called the reality star’s fashion statement a failure. “What a stupid outfit! She’s so thirsty!” » someone said. One X user echoed similar sentiments, wondering why Kylie had bleached her eyebrows.

Kylie’s famous hairstylist, Iggy Rosales, opened up about her Met Gala outfit in an interview with Vogue. He explained that the goal of the custom Schiaparelli outfit was to give the illusion of a slipping dress and make Kylie look like “a living sculpture.”
To achieve the illusion, Rosales experimented with different eyebrow looks before deciding to bleach Kylie’s eyebrows to match her skin. “We didn’t even test brows just to see how far we could push them,” the hairstylist revealed.
Rosales wanted a similar effect to the dress with Kylie’s hair, noting that he wanted “a tension between something sculpted and something undone.” He styled the artist’s hair in curly waves, allowing the midsection to have a more precise shape around the face and a kissing curl around the eye area.
Kylie Jenner is no stranger to Met Gala hiccups

Kylie’s bleached eyebrow drama isn’t the first time her fashion statements have caused unwanted consequences. Last year, she attended the annual fashion event in a sleek, futuristic Ferragamo ensemble that exuded corseted elegance.
She completed her stunning look with a pair of strappy stilettos which later became the price she had to pay for beauty. After the event, HOLA! reported that Kylie shared her woes on Instagram, revealing that the shoes were stuck to her feet.
Kylie had shared a video of her assistants spraying glue on the shoes while trying to remove her feet. The process seemed painful, as the reality star could be heard grimacing. As for what happened, Kylie explained that Ferragamo creative director Maximilian Davis advised her to glue her shoes to her feet.
