Austin Metcalf’s friend describes Karmelo Anthony to 911 dispatcher after stabbing

Austin Metcalf‘the friend described Carmelo Anthony to a 911 dispatcher right after the stabbing last year…while seeming confident the situation was over because some trainers caught him.

New 911 audio has been released and it comes from a friend in Austin… who tells the dispatcher his friend was stabbed in the chest.

She asks if he can see the attacker…and he says he can – describing the person who stabbed Austin as black, wearing an Essentials sweatshirt and blue sweatpants.

We know Karmelo wore this outfit because body camera footage of the incident showed him overall as the cops took him away…while he cried and claimed to be defending himself.

In the 911 call, Metcalf’s friend says he’s not sure Anthony still has the gun…but that he no longer poses a threat. The dispatcher asks why he says that, and he tells him that the coaches stopped him and seem to be handling the situation.

This 911 call is very different from the other we posted… in which a person right next to Metcalf speaks to a dispatcher while others perform CPR.

The haunting audio captured the plea of ​​the good Samaritans who jumped for help…begging Metcalf to live.

As you know… cops arrested Anthony after the April 2025 stabbing – and he was recently convicted of murder. He was sentenced to more than three decades in prison.
